While Wisconsin is known for being the “cheese state”, Milwaukee at a closer glimpse has its own rich history as well. For example, Milwaukee used to be home to many Native American tribes- one of those being the Potawatomi tribe (pictured to the right). Milwaukee has also been known for its manufacturing and distribution history as well.
